How to use

Bittboy quick start guide

·         Charge Bittboy’s internal battery by connecting the power adapter.  The power and charging indicator LED will be RED when charging.

·         Format the MicroSD card to FAT32 using your Windows, Mac or Linux PC

·         Copy game ROMs to the root of the MicroSD card (file format  ".nes", ".gbc", ".gb")

·         Insert the MicroSD card into the Bittboy

·         Turn on the Bittboy and start playing

Note:  The Bittboy’s main menu will take a couple of seconds to load after powering on the device.


Adjusting the volume:

To adjust the volume, hold down the "Select" button and press either A or B.

Select + B = Volume Up

Select + A = Volume Down

Adjusting the screen brightness:

To adjust the screen brightness, hold down the "Select" button and press either TA or TB .

Select + TB = Brightness Up

Select + TA = Brightness Down


Saving and loading game progress

The Bittboy enables you to save and load game progress so you can pick up exactly where you left off. This feature can also be used to retry a hard part of a game level without having to start from the beginning.

1) Saving game progress.

While playing a game, do the following to save your progress:

· Press the “R” button to enter the “Settings” menu

· Select the “Save” option (using the D-PAD) and press “A”

      · Select one of the save locations to store your game progress and press “A”

      · Select the “Save” option and press “A”

 2) Loading game progress

While playing a game, do the following to load your saved progress:

· Press the “R” button to enter the “Settings” menu

· Select the “Save” option and press “A"

      · Select the save location to load and press “A”

· Select the “Read” option and press “A”


Note: Press "B" to quit the "Settings" menu and go back to the game.

Exiting a game and returning to the main menu

To exit a game and return to the main menu, hold down the “R” button for several seconds.
